Have the bebo generation gone too far?? Are people becoming too dependent on websites like bebo, Myspace and facebook? Well im having trouble writing this blog so I wouldn't have the patience to be on these sites all the time but I do admit that I have got a bebo page and since starting college im slowly gettin addicted to the early morning shot of gossip which is so easy to find on bebo and I love checking out the funny pics of the weekend but thats where my obsession stops. On the other hand I have friends who live their lives through these sites, they sit on the computer all day and all night and when me and my friends who have normal social lives (away from the laptop) fancy a night out and our computer crazy friends cancel on us no matter what their excuse, I have the feeling that they have a hot date with their pc.I'v always said me and computers don't get on so I really don't understand what the big deal is with these virtual communities. I'd much rather a good chat on the phone or even better face to face in my opinion some people tend to turn anti-social when they become dependent on these sites. I'v been in peoples houses when you can barely get a word out of them because they are glued to the computer its just rude and now people can access these sites through their mobile phones which makes the problem even worse so when these computer mad friends can peel themselves away from the pc theres a good chance you might catch them myspacing it away in the pub!! I jus don't get it but each to their own!!
