Everyone wants d the topspot!!

Digital marketing is becoming increasingly popular as it is begining to influence people even more than television. Now with technology and luxuries like sky plus people no longer have to watch the adds on t.v and with people spending the majority of the day on their computer, companies are allocating a huge part of their budgets to online marketing. This is understandable as everyone is influenced by the net in particular young people and those who work in front of a computer everyday companies are getting maximum world wide coverage. This doesn't come cheap however, there are different types of payment systems one being pay-per-click which means the company only pays for those times a customer clicks into the site! This is an example of a paid-for listing.
One main aim of companys is to get the google topspot which almost guarantees that almost everyone who types in the key words will visit this site. The hotspot is not an easy spot to get to this is achieved with the help of search engine optimization which is when the google spider visits your site and chooses it for number 1.This would be an example of an organic listing where the company does not have to pay for their listing.
I tink its all quite complicated but its obviously working!!

After weeks no actually months of job hunting I finally found a job, Its only xmas work but who cares!! I can afford prezzies now YAY and its also money for going out, what would I have done if I had to miss out on all the GREAT Christmas sessions that will be happening?? CRY is what but its all good I gotsa job. Im starting on tuesday in zara so excited but a little bit nervous!! Fingers crossed! CANT WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

Virtual communities I just don't get it

Have the bebo generation gone too far?? Are people becoming too dependent on websites like bebo, Myspace and facebook? Well im having trouble writing this blog so I wouldn't have the patience to be on these sites all the time but I do admit that I have got a bebo page and since starting college im slowly gettin addicted to the early morning shot of gossip which is so easy to find on bebo and I love checking out the funny pics of the weekend but thats where my obsession stops. On the other hand I have friends who live their lives through these sites, they sit on the computer all day and all night and when me and my friends who have normal social lives (away from the laptop) fancy a night out and our computer crazy friends cancel on us no matter what their excuse, I have the feeling that they have a hot date with their pc.

I'v always said me and computers don't get on so I really don't understand what the big deal is with these virtual communities. I'd much rather a good chat on the phone or even better face to face in my opinion some people tend to turn anti-social when they become dependent on these sites. I'v been in peoples houses when you can barely get a word out of them because they are glued to the computer its just rude and now people can access these sites through their mobile phones which makes the problem even worse so when these computer mad friends can peel themselves away from the pc theres a good chance you might catch them myspacing it away in the pub!! I jus don't get it but each to their own!!

All week we were deciding what to wear this was an event that was going to have the most fashionable people in the country attending, everyone

would have the same thing in common FASHION our motto was 'If you cant beat them join them!!!' Well we tried!

It was a brill day we had such a laugh, Rebekah was the moneybags she got loads but broke old me (story if my life!!) got zero there was nothing I wanted anyway!(YEAH RIGHT). We did'nt get to see the fashion show buu huu but the D and G outlet was fab and when they said 70% off me and Bex could'nt believe it but to our dissapointment 70% off ment bags and dresses from 1,300 to 600 still way out of our price range!!!

Second day back and the early mornings are killing me, every morning I wake up its dark,wet and really really cold!! And what do I have to look foward to... Standing at a bus stop at 7 o'clock in the morning FREEZING! Commuting is not fun! I want to move up here so much but my dearest parents don't want me to they think I won't come to college and just go drinking.... Me seriously after 19 years they should know me better I'd work so much harder if I lived up here and I wouldnt be tempted b the too cheap to miss student nights! haha yeah rite!! We'll I get them to trust me..... fingers crossed!! xox

Forgot to say earlier... OH MY GOD I got 80 in my business software applications exam...
Like WHAT everyone who knows me knows that me and computers dont get along!!
Can't believe it must be a fluke!! I am delighted though so keep the flukes coming!!

Had such a good week, all i did was sleep and eat and drink and then I went back to sleep again!!
It was my kinda week! I tried to find a job aswell but no joy looks like nobodys getting pressies this year...
